Team Training and Camps

Team Training and Camps as well as Game Analysis are available for all age groups and levels.  Your In The Net Soccer Academy trainer will develop a customized program that will address the needs of your individual team.  Coaches are encouraged to provide input into the development of the training program or may prefer to have the trainer follow a proven existing program. Camps are generally delivered in a 3 hour time block per day during the 5 day camp for just your invited players.  Normal camp times are 9AM-12PM; 1PM-4PM or 5PM-8PM. Camps are a highly focused means of training your players while working on a daily topic (technical or tactical).  These new technical or tactical skills are introduced, taught and learned through the use of games.  A typical daily schedule would be as follows:  1) warm-up with the agility ladder to work on speed, strength, and balance, 2) the introduction of a new topic (technical or tactical) with a progression from small and simple to large and more complex, 3) warm-down.

Training sessions generally run once or twice a week for as many months as the team decides is necessary. Your trainer will attend a minimum of 2 games during the season so that they will be able to adapt and or refocus the remaining training sessions based on actual game performance. Both the players and coaches will receive direct feedback from the team training and development program.

There have been over 80 boys and girls teams of all ages in the Team Training program.

The Team Training and Camps are a great way for teams looking to get a pre-season, pre-tournament tune-up, or training throughout the course of the season.  Team Training and Camps are a good way to raise money for your team or club.

Game Analysis

Coaches, not sure if you are:

Playing the right defensive formation that suites your players best (ie: flat back four, sweeper / stopper, three backs, zonal / man marking, etc.);

Playing your players in the positions where their strengths can shine and help the team win (ie: very technical players playing the middle, faster kids on the outside or in the back, bigger kids in the back or as a target player up top, goalie, etc.);

Playing a particular style of soccer that is not conducive to your players (ie: attacking through the center links with possession, getting the ball wide early, long direct balls from the backs over the top, play to feet or space, etc.);

Making the right substitutions and at the right times (ie: clock and game time management with your stronger / weaker players, who's tired, rotating players positions or substituting, etc.)?

Patrick Mulcahy or one of the InTheNet Soccer Academy staff members can help with some of these questions as well as any others that you may have.  InTheNet will provide a full written game analysis breaking down your teams warm-up, individual and team strengths / weaknesses, technical and tactical areas / decision making and your teams final cool-down.
