The Northeast Delta Dental 4v4 Tournament

The Delta Dental 4v4 Tournament is scheduled for June 23, 2007.  2006 was our fourth year for this tournament and it saw 20+ teams participate from both NH as well as MA.  Teams age groups ranged from U8 Co-Ed through Men's Open division.  This is one of the few tournaments with a Men's Open division.  The games were held at both Northeast Delta Dental's corporate fields and at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH.  Each team was guaranteed a minimum of 3 games plus playoffs.  Each game consisted of 2 - 15 minute halves, a couple of minutes longer than traditional 4v4 games.  The format included no goalies, no throw-ins, substitution on-the-fly, no off-sides, and every foul resulted in a direct unobstructed shot on goal.  Both the Referee Director and all the referees did an outstanding job.  There were no minor or major injuries sustained throughout the tournament and everyone appeared to have a fun and safe tournament.  Northeast Delta Dental continues to be pleased with the event and have decided to continue to make it an annual event and have expressed their great hope that it will grow in the years to come.

Field is 35 yards wide and 40 yards long
4v4 with NO GOALIES, maximum roster size is 8
Substitution is on "the fly"
2, 15 minute halves
No Offsides
All fouls are Direct, Unobstructed Kicks on Goal
No Throw-Ins
No players are allowed in semi-circle, Goals are awarded automatically
GOALS GALORE!!

Tournament Champions and Runners-Up will receive Trophies
NHSA/USYSA Sanctioned
Playing age as of Aug. 1, 2007
Each Team will play a Minimum of 3 Games
Proceeds go to the Rusty Fund.
