Winter Clinics - Striker and Finishing Clinic

The hardest thing to do on a soccer field is score goals.  No matter what position you play, we will make you a better goal-scorer!  This program puts heavy emphasis on functional training for midfielders and strikers in the offensive third and is all about scoring goals.  The finishing program will allow players to become effective finishers in front of the net.  With our goal keeper students present in the net during each class, players will concentrate on scoring goals against a live goalie from many angles, from various services and by using multiple finishing techniques. 

An agility ladder will also be used to improve individual footwork, strength, speed, balance, coordination and conditioning.

Players (boys and girls) ages 10-12 and 13+ (including High School players) will be placed together first by age and then by ability in groups of a 12:1 player to coach ratio to allow the maximum learning environment for each player.

Session 1: 11/3/08 - 12/19/08
Session 2: 12/22/08 - 2/6/09
Session 3: 2/9/09- 3/27/09

Players must always bring a ball, shin guards and water to every class
